FLRC Challenge: Sights of the Heights (2026)

The 6.2-mile Sights of the Heights course is our new addition for 2026. It starts at Community Corners (on the sidewalk between Hart & Welsh DDS and the RE/MAX In Motion office across the street) and takes you on a tour of some of the most scenic spots in Cayuga Heights, including a loop around Risley Hall and along the gorge, a peekaboo view of not one but two private sculpture gardens, and numerous cool houses. It’s worth running on the sidewalk where possible on this course to avoid cars.

As with 5Ks and the Lakefront Loops course, you can submit results for this course from any 10K race anywhere in the world (runs of the correct distance outside of a race don’t count). That way, if you’re traveling outside of the area on vacation, you can record some Challenge efforts. To get credit for a remote Sights of the Heights completion, you must submit a race report on the forum, preferably with photos and a link to the results.
