Thanks for volunteering to be a course marshal at an FLRC race! We’re testing a new text-messaging system that will enable all the race directors, course marshals, and other race-safety volunteers to remain in contact via SMS during the race.
By registering for one of these jobs in our Helper Helper volunteer management system and providing your phone number, you agree that we may add your number to the Race Comms group. You will only receive messages from other race volunteers, and only as testing before the race and on the day of the race. The system will be deactivated after the race.
If you don’t wish to receive race-specific text messages during the race, please don’t sign up for a course marshal or race safety job, remove your phone number from your Helper Helper profile, or contact the race director.
