The 8.2-mile Black Diamond Cass to Gorge course is about as simple as it gets, being a straight shot on the Black Diamond Trail from Cass Park in Ithaca to Gorge Road in Trumansburg (the previous parking lot on Jacksonville Road isn’t there anymore). However, you can also choose your own adventure since it’s entirely acceptable to run it entirely in one direction or the other, or start at either end, run to the FLRC Challenge sign in the middle, and turn around. Running from the Trumansburg side to Ithaca is undoubtedly the easiest due to the slight downhill grade if you want the fastest time. Results | Posts
