Vino and the Beasts is the OFFICIAL 5K obstacle run of the Finger Lakes! Run through the vineyards and enjoy our host winery locations, the beautiful views they have to offer, and of course their delicious WINES. The event is a 5k run with obstacles and is sponsored by Beast Mode Athletics and a winery partner that varies depending on the race location. After the run there will be a huge celebration with live music, INCLUDED WINE tastings, food, and fun! Awards will be given to the top performing athletes and the participants with the best costumes. Bring your running shoes that can get muddy, your craziest costume, and beastly attitude!
Course Description
The Finger Lakes Vino and the Beasts Course is set beautifully on the northern end of Seneca Lake in Geneva, NY with tons of great scenery. The course is slightly longer than a 5K but we wanted to make sure you got your money’s worth! This is an off road course with the trail going through fields, woods, water, and of course mud. There is a minimum of 13 obstacles, described below, that are sure to challenge you and bring a lot of fun to the event. Obstacles can be avoided by participants that do not feel they are physically able to complete a particular obstacle or all obstacles. Those individuals will not be eligible for competitive awards. The course is not too hilly except in the woods section where you run next to some ravines and through some dry creek beds. In addition, there will be WINE TASTINGS on the course at the second water station for everyone over 21 to enjoy! The course is awesome and this is a can’t miss event.
