Bradford County’s inaugural half marathon will take place along the beautiful shores of the Susquehanna River. The route will begin in Riverfront Park in Sayre PA and follow along the river and end at the Larnard Hornbrook County Park. Runners will experience 1219 ft of elevation change throughout the race, enjoying some challenging hills and valleys! Race starts at 9:00 a.m. Cost is $25 for pre-registration, $35 day of the race. Aid stations will be at mile 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12.
Race packets can be picked up Friday evening from 6pm-9pm at Larnard Hornbrook County Park or 8:00 a.m. on race day at Sayre Riverfront Park. All participants are invited to bring family and friends on Friday evening to enjoy live music and refreshments as they pick up their race packets. Music will be provided by Justin Raynor. Local hotels and motels will be offering special rates, and the Hornbrook campground will offer free camping to all runners. Parking is available at the finish line and there will be shuttle buses transporting runners from the county park to the start line on Saturday morning. Shuttle buses will leave from the Hornbrook Park at 8:15a.m.

Come enjoy the beauty of the fall season as you run this scenic course. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Walk for Our Buddies 2017, helping families of children with Down Syndrome.
The first 100 runners will be guaranteed a long sleeve running shirt. All half marathon finishers will receive a medal.
