The Panther Prowl 5K is a charity run/walk event open to all for individual runners. Proceeds from this event help to grow our scholarship program for students in the Spencer Van Etten Central School District.
This is our fastest-growing event! Each year, the Panther Prowl 5K is held on the 1st Saturday in August at Vergason Technology, Inc. in Van Etten. The race is a flat, fast course and features a chipped timing start/finish format. Trophies are given to the top two overall male and female finishers. Medals are awarded to the first-place runners of each age group. Refreshments are provided.
Early registration guarantees a limited edition Panther Prowl 5K t-shirt; on-site registrants receive shirts while supplies last. Students: Look for the student discount on the registration page.
