The YMCA of Ithaca and Tompkins County is excited to announce the return of our annual Santa Run 5K and Family Elf Mile, sponsored by Advantage Sport and Fitness and Cayuga Radio Group!
The event will be on Saturday, December 4th at Stewart Park. The Santa Run 5K is slated to start at 9am and the Elf Mile at 9:10am. Please keep in mind that the event will happen “snow or shine.”
Along with the Santa Run 5K and Family Elf Mile, there will be cookies, cocoa, music, and a visit from Santa himself. Dressing up for the event is strongly encouraged for this family-friendly event!
Prizes will be available for best costume, along with prizes for the top three finishers of the 5K. Everyone in attendance will also receive a fun holiday themed door prize and a Santa Hat! The first 100 people will also receive a free t-shirt!
Tickets for the 5K are $20 for those under the age of 21 and $25 for 22+. The Family Elf Mile is totally free, but donations will be accepted! Prices increase the day of the race. All proceeds for the event will go towards the Ithaca YMCA’s Membership Assistance Program to help those in our community afford a Y membership.
