GlobeMed at Cornell Presents:
The 6th annual STRIP FOR SOLIDARITY 5K!
Come to the F.R. Newman Arboretum in the Cornell Botanic Gardens on September 30th to run/jog/walk a 5K to support AMMID, our partner organization in Comitancillo, Guatemala. All proceeds will support the sustainable water filtration project in the Maya-Mam community, which you can learn more about at http://www.globemed.org/impact/cornell/
Through this fundraiser, we are also collecting clothes to donate to Ithaca Rescue Mission! If you would like to donate clothes, come wearing whatever you would like to donate and we will have buckets along the course where you can drop them off throughout the run.

Registration begins at 9:30am and the 5k will begin promptly at 10:00am! You must sign a waiver upon arriving at the Plantations so leave enough time for yourself to get there, check in and sign the waiver! Refreshments will be provided and prizes will be awarded to the top runners.
Come for some fun and exercise, while supporting the Comitancillo and Ithaca communities at the same time!
