The Frost Town Trail Fest celebrates the vast recreational opportunities, beauty, and environmental mission of the RMSC Cumming Nature Center with a challenging 25k or 10k trail run. The routes explore some of the best the Bristol Hills has to offer while exploring newly acquired neighboring landscapes. The challenging 25k course is a single loop that circumnavigates both the Cumming Nature Center and a newly acquired property managed by The Nature Conservancy. A steep winding ascent and then descent through historic logging roads initiate 25k runners to this stout cross-terrain trail challenge. Next, after traversing through the well maintained and traveled Cumming Nature Center Trail system, runners navigate through well-marked but less-traveled and more rugged terrain across the Rattlesnake Hill ridgeline east of Lake Honeoye. Well-placed aid stations will be available at approximately 4-mile intervals for a total of three on-course support stations.

For a quicker and less remote challenge, the 10k course is the best of the RMSC Cumming Nature Center trail system. Less elevation gain and a more runnable course make this a great first 10k or a fast trail loop for seasoned trail runners.
