This 6.8-mile course starts above the playground off Juniper Street, where there are a number of parking spots. There are also parking spots near the Burns and Coddington entrances.
The course requires that you run out-and-back on all three arms of the South Hill Rec Way. The canonical route (from FLRC’s old Rec Way 10K) is to head out the long arm to Burns Road, turn around at the gate, come back and take a right to head downhill past the playground, turn around where the pavement starts at the Hudson Street entrance, go back to the playground, turn right and go out to Coddington Road and turn around at its gate before coming back to finish at the playground.
