Come join us for the inaugural Dryden Ugly Sweater 5K set for Saturday, December 5, in Dryden, NY. This event combines “fun” and “run” all into “one”. Participants are not required but definitely encouraged to dress in costume (ugly sweaters) for this chilly run/walk. The event will start at the Historical Dryden Hotel (built in 1844) with most of the run/walk on the new Dryden Rail Trail. This event will benefit the Dryden Rail Trail Revenue Fund as they continue to need funding to complete and improve this beautiful trail. All donations and a portion of the race proceeds will benefit this cause.
The 5K race event will start in Montgomery Park located just behind the Dryden Hotel. The first 1/4 mile is on pavement (Elm Street) with the rest of run/walk on the newly built rail trail. Here is a map that will give you a sense of the 5K course.
