Join us at the start line for the start of a new tradition!
This challenge lets you work on what you are most interested in and your registration fee will help in the making of the Howland Farm Museum! Hopefully this will become an annual event with timing, t-shirts, and awards in the future—but it’s just casual this year to get the word out there!
Choose your preferred distance from three courses that take you along beautiful country roads with views of Cayuga Lake. Then choose if you want to run, walk, or bike that distance!
Challenge start time will be noon, arrive at 11:30 to get ready to go.
After the challenge, stay and enjoy Fall Fest! A food truck will be waiting to grab a warm bite to eat. Check out local artisan/craft vendors, historical demonstrations, family activities, and games. Simmerin’ Stew will be playing bluegrass music from 1-4 pm!
Note: Roads on courses are mostly side roads with no shoulder but minimal traffic. Roads will not be closed to traffic during event, so wear appropriate safety clothing/gear. There is only the option to cycle the 42K course at this point. This is about a marathon length course and if you are interested in running it, please send me a private message thru the Facebook event page.
