The Ithaca Garden Club and the Ithaca Children’s Garden are teaming up to sponsor the Third Daffodil Dash, an event for families and individuals of all ages and stages to enjoy Ithaca’s natural beauty. Participants will run, walk, and stroll along the inlet in Cass Park, through mass plantings of daffodils (180,000!) planted with the assistance of Cornell University volunteers and equipment. Children 12 and under receive free registration and a free t-shirt, and all proceeds from this year’s event will be used to plant daffodil bulbs at the Cayuga Medical Center campus.
